Wedding day storytelling
Using the real colour, happiness, character, emotion and humour of your day I’ll make you a long picture story to enjoy forever.
Having invested heaps of energy, thought and care, you’ll be so busy getting married and having fun you won’t see most of what goes. Having a documentary photographer with a photojournalist’s eye along for the ride might be just the thing. Weddings aren’t my main thing but I love them and have had the privilege to make the pictures for dozens of happy couples. I let things happen, and just watch, move, and silently click, making pictures you’ll treasure. I’ll guide you through relaxed natural portraits and group pictures, but for the rest I’ll find your pictures without any fuss and not interrupting the flow of the day.
And I’m a very no judgemental and inclusive photographer; LGBTQ+ and queer friendly, and as a man, as Feminist as one can be (I’m a dad of 2 wonderful daughters..). I’m with you. If you think we might be a good match I’d love to work for you, to celebrate your day by making your pictures sing..

I’m a laid back sort of picture maker. Photojournalism taught me to become part of what’s going on, to watch and adapt, moving and mingling, making pictures as I go. I’m very ‘hands-off’ and try hard not to interfere with what’s naturally happening. I think it’s real life, real light and real colours that make pictures sing. Most people seem to understand they don’t have to freeze and grin when I’m around and can just be themselves. And that’s how I’d hope you’ll want your family and friends remembered. It’ll be a long lovely adventure of a day, and there’ll be so much time to find and make pictures. It’s all about capturing, and charmingly presenting and preserving the real and the wonderful for you.
For me to be with you for the whole day my prices start at £1350. And yes, I also make wedding books and prints of all sorts. On request I can give much more detail. Do use the contact form, then a chat is probably the way to start an enquiry. I’d love to hear from you.
